Tatra Ridge Landscape
An emergence of boundary and order within a woodland meadow. Alignment to the natural, departure from the bounded and unbounded. The landscape is negotiated between what we occupy and what we exclude ourselves from. The house inserts its axial position into a meandering field. The architecture of this landscape mediates, counters, and defines these experiences. Walls, meadows, linear swaths of color and texture, water and field.
